  3. Whisk in granulated & brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk vigorously for about 1 minute until the mixture becomes glossy.
  5. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold the ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).
  6. Stir in chocolate chips (if using).
  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is just set but still slightly gooey.
  9. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing for the best fudgy texture.
