For the Bowl:
- 8 oz (225 g) noodles (udon, rice noodles, or spaghetti)
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded carrots
- 1 cup (100 g) thinly sliced red bell peppers
- 1/2 cup (50 g) chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup (25 g) fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Noodles:
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
- Cook the Pork:
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces with a spatula.
- Add garlic and ginger, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili paste, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for another 2-3 minutes to coat the pork in the sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.
