Here’s a simple and delicious One-Pot Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Pasta recipe! It’s creamy, flavorful, and perfect for a quick dinner.
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cubed)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Pasta:
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
- 1½ cups milk
- 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the cubed chicken with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pot and set aside.
- Sauté Garlic & Start the Sauce
- In the same pot, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Cook the Pasta
- Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and milk. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add pasta and stir to prevent sticking. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Add Chicken & Cheese
- Once the pasta is cooked, stir in the cooked chicken and Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth to loosen it up.
- Serve & Garnish
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) and fresh parsley.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
