Honey Soy-Glazed Salmon

A sweet, savory, and sticky glaze caramelizes beautifully over tender, flaky salmon—ready in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients:

🥢 Serves 2-4

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions:

1️⃣ Make the Glaze

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.

2️⃣ Sear the Salmon

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes, until golden.

3️⃣ Glaze & Caramelize

  • Flip the salmon and pour the glaze over it.
  • Spoon glaze over the fillets as they cook for 2-3 more minutes, until caramelized.

4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!

  • Garnish with sesame seeds & green onions.
  • Serve with steamed rice, roasted veggies, or quinoa.
