Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

🍗 Serves 4-6

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split into drumettes & flats)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (for crispy skin)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

For the Honey BBQ Sauce:

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional, for spice)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Prep the Wings

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Pat the wings dry with paper towels (moisture = less crispy).
  • In a bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

2️⃣ Bake Until Crispy

  • Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.

3️⃣ Make the Sauce

  • In a saucepan, heat BBQ sauce, honey, butter, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce over medium heat.
  • Stir for 2-3 minutes until smooth and glossy.

4️⃣ Toss & Serve

  • Remove wings from the oven and toss in the honey BBQ sauce.
  • Return to the oven for 5 more minutes to caramelize.
  • Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds, and enjoy!
