This Garlic Broccoli Shrimp Stir-Fry is a quick and flavorful dish packed with juicy shrimp, tender-crisp broccoli, and a savory garlic sauce. Perfect for a healthy, easy meal in under 20 minutes!
Ingredients
For the Stir-Fry:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
For the Garlic Sauce:
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin sauce for vegetarian)
- 1 tbsp honey (or keto-friendly sweetener)
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch (or arrowroot powder for thickening)
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
1. Prep the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
2. Cook the Shrimp
- Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
3. Stir-Fry the Broccoli
- In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed.
- Add broccoli and garlic, stir-frying for 2-3 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
4. Combine & Serve
- Return shrimp to the pan and pour in the prepared garlic sauce.
- Stir well and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over steamed rice, cauliflower rice (for keto), or noodles.
Optional Toppings
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped green onions for extra flavor.
