Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp dried oregano or thyme (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in brown sugar and cook for another 30 seconds (until melted).
- Coat chicken in the garlic brown sugar mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes (if using an oven) OR cook in a skillet for 6-8 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
- Spoon extra sauce over the chicken before serving.
