A quick and easy one-pan meal with tender beef, crisp broccoli, and slurp-worthy noodles tossed in a savory, garlicky sauce!
Ingredients:
🥢 Serves 3-4
For the Stir-Fry:
- 8 oz rice noodles (or lo mein, spaghetti)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil)
- ½ lb beef (flank steak, sirloin, or ribeye), thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
For the Sauce:
- ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin for vegetarian)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional, for heat)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup beef broth (or water)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch, mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
For Garnish:
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp green onions, sliced
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the Noodles
- Boil noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Stir-Fry the Beef
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
- Add beef and cook for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Cook the Veggies
- In the same pan, add broccoli and 2 tbsp water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add garlic & ginger, stir-frying for 30 seconds.
4️⃣ Make the Sauce
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, black pepper, and broth.
- Pour sauce into the pan, then add cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened.
5️⃣ Toss Everything Together
- Return beef & noodles to the pan. Toss well to coat in sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds & green onions, then serve hot!
