Ingredients:

🥘 Serves 4

For the Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise (or 4 small fillets)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp flour (or almond flour for keto)
  • 2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)

For the Creamy Lemon Sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or white wine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for dairy-free)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Season & Sear the Chicken

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika, then lightly coat with flour.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

2️⃣ Make the Creamy Lemon Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping the pan to deglaze.
  • Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, zest, and Italian seasoning.

3️⃣ Simmer & Serve

  • Return chicken to the pan and let simmer for 5 minutes, until sauce thickens.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese (if using).
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot!
