- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream or milk (for extra creaminess)
- 1 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Beef & Aromatics
- Heat a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add diced onions and garlic, cooking until softened (about 2-3 minutes).
- Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- Make the Sauce & Cook the Pasta
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and pasta.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Add Cheese & Creaminess
- Stir in butter, heavy cream, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese until melted and creamy.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth to loosen it up.
- Serve & Garnish
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley or basil and serve hot!
- Enjoy with garlic bread or a side salad.
