Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour (or bread flour for extra fluffiness)
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk (about 110°F)
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 large egg (or flax egg: 1 tbsp flaxseed + 2.5 tbsp water)
For the Cinnamon Filling:
- ⅓ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1️⃣ Make the Dough (10 Minutes)
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead for 3-5 minutes until smooth. Let rest for 5 minutes.
2️⃣ Roll & Fill (5 Minutes)
- Roll dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar & cinnamon evenly.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side, then slice into 9-12 rolls.
3️⃣ Quick Rise & Bake (25 Minutes)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rest 5 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
4️⃣ Glaze & Serve
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls & enjoy!
