With years of hands-on recipe development and real-world travel experience, Courtney creates clear, reliable cooking guides<\/strong> and shares firsthand travel insights<\/strong> rooted in food<\/strong>, culture<\/strong>, and approachable activities<\/strong>. Every recipe and guide on Sweet Cs Designs is developed, tested, and written to help readers cook \u2014 and travel \u2014 with confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooking with me is all about making the process enjoyable and stress-free. I provide everything you need to feel like a pro in the kitchen<\/strong>, from step-by-step instructions to handy tips and tricks – because my goal is to make cooking accessible to everyone. I’m Courtney O’Dell, and I want to see and taste everything – I’m a travel-obsessed mom who grew up poring over Martha Stewart cookbooks and went to my first cooking class before I was 6!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I worked in restaurants and at a specialty foods store through my teens and college, and I’ve always been the friend people went to for recipes, even when I worked chaotic jobs in politics (in a past life, I worked in the United States Senate and ran PACs and campaign strategies for a multi-state financial trade association). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always been known for elaborate dinner parties – even as a teen – and people know when they show up to my house, they won’t leave hungry. I’m so honored to now get to share my recipes with you, my new friends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am based in Northern Colorado, on a farm close to the mountains, with my husband and two kids. I also have a podcast with stories I love and trending pop culture and politics at I Think Less of You<\/a>.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n

Katherine is originally from Fort Collins, Colorado and has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from CSU. She has been with Sweet C’s since her first son was born in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katherine cares for everything to do with the business management for Sweet C’s. She also manages the content production and development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Katherine loves to cook and is behind the lense of many of our recipes. She currently lives in upstate South Carolina with her husband and four sons. She loved to hike and bike with her family in her free time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
